DFN Project SEARCH
DFN Project SEARCH is a one year supported internship programme for those aged 18 to 24 who have an EHCP. Predominantly based at Eastbourne Hospital, offering 3 unpaid work placements for interns to gain and develop work related skills, knowledge, and behaviours ready for paid employment.

Information Desk
The organisers of BFS 2026 have provided lesson materials for schools/colleges to use prior to the show that support the revised Gatsby Benchmarks. Eastbourne EBP staff and BFS show hosts will be on-hand to help direct visitors to the exhibitors that are most appropriate to their individual interests and needs.
Job-Seekers Corner
BFS 2026 is pleased to host a dedicated job-seekers corner kindly sponsored and staffed by Recruitment South East together with employment experts from The People Matter Trust and DWP-Eastbourne Jobcentre. How to Exhibit at The BIG Futures Show.
Here’s why you should be exhibiting at The BIG Futures Show:
- Attend one event a year to engage with those aged 14 and above from local schools and colleges – greater efficiency of your time and resources.
- Meet potential candidates for vacancies now and in the future.
- Access to 1,500 plus visitors.
- Positive PR of organisation through attendance, official website, social media and Show Guide given to all visitors.

About Exhibiting
The BIG Futures Show returns on Tuesday 28 April 2026.
The Show is the largest employability and skills event in the area and is aimed at students (aged 14+) from across East Sussex as well as parents and anyone looking for work or training. The Show brings employers and educators face to face with tomorrow’s workforce at a time when they are making big decisions about their futures.
Student visitors have to decide what to do next in a year or so. They will be looking for jobs that they would like to do and employers that they want to work for. They will be asking about what qualifications they need and how do they achieve them? Do they look for an apprenticeship and/or do they go onto higher education and enter the workplace as a graduate?
BFS 2026 provides a unique opportunity for you to reach out and contribute to the development of the workforce of the future, to influence its direction and to gain exposure to it.
The show is organised by Eastbourne Education Business Partnership in association with Eastbourne Borough Council and sponsoring partners. Some 75+ organisations are expected to attend providing both an interactive and inspirational experience for visitors. Student visitors from schools will benefit from additional preparation materials beforehand. The venue will be at Eastbourne Sports Park.
BFS 2026 will provide a range of sponsorship and exhibitor options to suit individual budgets (conditions will apply).
