Organisers of The BIG Futures Show (BFS) 2026 have extended their sincere thanks to all exhibitors, sponsors and supporters whose time and generosity helped make this year’s event a standout success.

Initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with visitors leaving inspired, informed and equipped with new ideas for their future pathways.

The event welcomed 23 schools from across Sussex, bringing together more than 2,000 pupils for a day of meaningful engagement with local and national employers, educators and training providers.

In addition to students, the event attracted a wide range of attendees, including active jobseekers, many of whom have already begun conversations that could shape their next career steps.

Exhibitors and partners praised the high level of student engagement, which contributed to a vibrant and productive atmosphere throughout the day.

Distinguished guests, which included Lord Lieutenant Andrew Blackman and The Mayor of Eastbourne, Cllr. Margaret Bannister, commended the event’s impact and organisation.

Chair of the Eastbourne Education Business Partnership CIO, Keith Ridley said:

“The EEBP is proud to have delivered out ninth BIG Futures Show event, and we are delighted to have brought together a range of local learning providers, businesses, organsations – showcasing the wealth of career opportunities available to you young people when they leave school.  We are also delighted to have welcomed jobseekers and others in the community to the show this year. Our Board truly hope the show has made a BIG positive impact across the community this year”

The BIG Futures Show is organised by Eastbourne Education Business Partnership CIO in partnership with Eastbourne Borough Council.
